Just had this subject going on on Twitter. Some people have driven some seriously fast machinery. One guy had driven an ex-F1 car with a Judd V10, then another trumped him with a Jaguar F1 car replete with original engine.
We also had several Lambos, a Radical ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ), several Porsches including GT3s and Turbos, a Phaeton W12, a Testarossa, an Enzo, a Mercedes E500 Limited and some TVRs.
The fastest car I've ever driven would be a toss up between a Bentley Continental GT Speed W12 and a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
How about you? What's the fastest car you've ever driven?

The fastest car I've ever driven, top-speed wise is probably my 330Ci, sans-limiter. The fastest I've ever driven was also in the same car.
Now, the fastest feeling car I've ever driven is my CJ, because 90mph with no doors, a 6.5' wheelbase and the aerodynamic properties of a brick feels pretty damn fast.

It's a toss-up.
My uncle had a 1970 ElCamino SS 454 with cowl induction. The motor had been "gone through" and I don't remember the exact numbers. But we took it out to a long stright country road and he let me open it up. I wasn't sure the skin on my face was going to stay in place.
We also has a full race-prepped 1968 Plymouth GTX on the car lot. 440 ci engine, roll bar, fuel cell, interior removed, etc. It was still street legal, though. I took it for a very quick spin once. Once. Scared the crap out of me.
We also had a Ford Talledega on the lot but I wasn't allowed to drive it. (This was around 1985.)
The fastest car I've owned is my current EcoBoost Flex.

That I have gone the fastest in or would be the fastest? Probably fastest (potential) car would be the old twin turbo Viper I got to play with back in the early 2000's... over 1000 HP. The fastest I have been in a car was my 300zx at somewhere north of 160 MPH (speedo is inaccurate anywhere near the top and was buried for a while before we backed off), but we didn't have a decent GPS speed reading so we don't know exactly how fast it was.

The potentially fastest car I have ever driven is my '03 RS6 (but really haven't taken it over 110 or so), although the fastest I have ever driven in a car was in a rental on the way up to Jackson Hole from SLC. Those wide open Idaho highways with nobody around are tempting. Bouncing off the limiter the entire trip. It's like they say on top gear...the fastest car in the world is a rental car.

The fastest can in the 1/4 I personally owned was my 95 Mustang GT that ran 11.50's, despite having a full Steeda handling suspension under it. That car was also responsible for the fastest speed I've ever driven at over 150mph (speedo only went to 150, and it was pegged). Not sure how much faster it would have went, but I wasn't keen to find out, really.

Fastest car, or fastest speed? 'Cause that's two different things to some.
My fastest car was an '83 Camaro, but never had it very fast.
My fastest speed (car) was an '83 Caprice Estate wagon, at 92mph.
The fastest I have propelled my body on a vehicle was an '81 Suzuki GS1000e. Somewhere over 100, after that I was too afraid to take my eyes off the road... the bouncy, vibrating, shaking road.
